I’m so sick of people who work with autistic kids getting overly praised. Like I’m sorry but you are not a hero, saint, or a good person just because you are doing a job you chose to do. Bowing down to people working with autistic kids perpetuates the negative stereotypes of autistic people and further stigmatizes autism, making autistic people seem unmanageable and nothing more than burdens.  Also, a lot of people working with autistic individuals are partaking in harmful practices and therapies without proper training or degrees...
