Especially the first one! I have a really hard time knowing if somebody actually wants me to do something unless they are specific about the task and direct it towards me completely.

These are actually good habits to get in to talking to anyone; there is no need to be vague or leave the door open for misunderstanding or hurt feelings. Clear, gentle communication is always a good thing!
