The 2019 ACA (Affordable Care Act) enrollment period has been shortened from 90 days to 45 days (November 1-December 15, 2018) and the advertising budget to promote open enrollment has been slashed in an effort to sabotage the program. You’re probably not seeing a lot of advertising (read: zero) about the enrollment window online or on TV.

meanwhile in japan. None of the thumbnails reveal anything, and 80-90% of videos about it are locked until the 24-hour period elapses. thus:

it just makes so clear the difference between america and other parts of the world.
For what it’s worth I literally didn’t see a single person on any of my social media feeds post anything about it except that it existed for 24 hours
