A little fanart for one of my favorite shows. The woodsman is very dear to my heart because a fellow similar to him showed up in my dreams, quite a long time before the show premiered at that. This makes part of me think he’s real, in his own way.
One of the many #yokai that appears in Inoue Book of Monsters, I think It’s Inoue Mononoke Roku(稲生物怪録). Their name translates to Rock Crab. They have a rock-like body, human fingers for legs and stalked eyes. I have no idea what it does! I can’t get much with google translate, but the book recounts the paranormal happenings within an upper class household/mansion.
I’ve been okay with keeping up with drawing, but not with posting! So two a day until I’m caught up!
