hot take: americans aren’t “sue happy,” often the majority of people that sue corporations are too poor to deal with the aftermath of what’s been done to them and need to lawyer up for compensation so they have a skotch more than a snowball’s chance of surviving and the downplaying of how serious these cases can be does nothing but make the corporation look like a relatable underdog, something that they cannot and will not ever be
