My šŸ‘ opened when I realized so many discourses around healing and empowerment and getting your life together are based in how well you are contributing to capitalism. So many of you are self-proclaimed communists but can’t seem to investigate why you perceive the fulfillment of the self as contingent upon the labor you produce.

Are you healing and loving yourself or are you just better serving capitalism and is the reason you allow your self love and healing dependent on how well you are serving capitalism? šŸ¤”Just some things to investigate!

Fundamentally this is one of the biggest flaws of recovery discourse

a person of color: racism–

a white european, materializing out of nowhere: actually i’m not from america so i don’t get this. can someone explain this? race is actually a US-centric concept. it was invented in the US. i need you to break this down for me because here in europe we don’t judge people by race.Ā

Okay, anyone who is playing the new PokĆ©mon games, I’m kind of at a loss for words… I’m just a casual more or less, I didn’t play any of these old games when I was younger. I did play X/Y and Sun/Moon some, but never beat either one. So here I am now, addicted immediately.

I named my adorable little critter bff Rey and was lucky that it was indeed a girl! I looked it up and apparently the chances of getting a female (let alone on first try) are obnoxiously low.

OH MY GOD HOW CUTE IS THIS. So I use her all the time. Everywhere. She’s like… one hitting everything and barely getting hurt from enemy attacks. I’m like… is this normal? She is so strong and brave and sturdy! She’s level 25 and I have the ability to ā€œjudgeā€ PokĆ©mon now. I’m curious how this little girl fares…

WHAT IN THE WORLD?!?!?!?! Does everyone’s starter PokĆ©mon have stats like this? Am I in some weird dream land?!?! I feel like this game is super easy because of this beast, if I had the other game would Pikachu have stats like this? This is unreal. I wish my Chespin in Y had these stats, I struggled a lot with that damn thing.

OP got a perfect IV female eevee on their first try, reblog for luck

FAVORITE MONSTERS #1: The Flatwoods Monster

The year 1952 was packed with UFO encounters all across the U.S. One of the most disturbing took place on this date, September 12, in Flatwoods, West Virginia. While inspecting a hilltop at night for what they thought was a crashed meteorite, Mrs. Kathleen May, her two sons, and four other boys–all ranging in age from 10 to 17–came across a ā€œbig ball of fireā€ and this hideous creature pictured here (from the cover of The Saucerian Bulletin, September 1959). The witnesses described it as a ā€œfire-breathing monster, 10 feet tall with a bright green body and a blood-red face.ā€ They were almost overcome by a strange suffocating odor, but they managed to escape. The official Air Force explanation: Mrs. May and the boys saw a meteor and were frightened by a barn owl! Don’t you hate it when you see an owl in the forest and mistake it for a 10-foot-tall glowing metallic monster?

Barbara Kruger’s never really talked aboutĀ Supreme,Ā the skate company who’s been ripping off her ideas and prints letter for letter, color for color, for their red-and-white logo, which you have seen, because it is everywhere.Ā

I emailed her casually to ask her about this. And today, she got back to me, and gave a candid statement on the matter of Supreme for the first time, ever, really. By emailing me a blank email, with an attachment. Which you can see above.
