Let It Die Official/Concept Art: NPCs

I noticed that there’s not really an aggregate source of official/concept art for Let It Die, and since there’s also no available art book at this time I’ve decided to make a few posts with art taken from the official Twitter, official website, and developer streams. Let me know if any art I post was actually taken from artists online and I’ll remove it before asking permission to post it with their source.

honestly, out of all the games that might have patch notes reading “fixed a Geneva convention violation”, Stardew Valley was not one I expected.

Lol?!?

This far from the first game to do so. This specific Geneva Conventions violation is so common in video games the Red Cross itself has had to tell the industry to knock it off.

My favorite part of it all is that it makes “Neopets violated the Geneva Conventions in the early 2000s” a completely true sentence.

Everyone’s like “when you stop being dirt poor you’ll start liking capitalism” and now that I’m actually able to survive and have some financial security I’m like, “nope still have long term memory and still want to Eat The Rich”

AKA: you don’t have to be the one suffering to want to end suffering

Happy #Slugtober #MolluscMonday! I managed to finish 12 slugs in the past 2 weeks, so I’m reversing my usual process by posting the full image first. Every Monday until the end of December, I’ll talk about each slug individually.

teaching children that they are allowed to walk away and cool off if they are feeling overwhelmed might literally save their life as teens/adults

I am a preschool teacher.

This is my “alone zone.”

At any time of the day, if my kids are feeling stressed, they can go here to cool down. There’s stress toys, silly putty, bubbles, sensory bottles…there’s books and headphones to block out the loud noises.

The only thing they have to do is “check in” by putting their picture on which emotion they’re feeling so I know how I can help them when they’re ready.

Kids. Need. Space.

Kids. Need. Coping. Mechanisms.

Not. Time-outs.

And the sooner we as adults teach them that, the better off they’ll be as they grow.

Seeing this kind of thing… fills me with many emotions
