I’m sure Elisa doesn’t miss all that much about being a human, but beneath the waves, surrounded by a bounty of seafood but nothing to season it with, the heart of any true Baltimorean would long for only one thing: Old Bay.

my anxiety is SO out of whack lately so i’m second guessing everything i do and convinced no one likes me and all my plans and contributions are stupid like deep in them self-loathing hours
and even tho ppl with a trauma/abuse history constitute the vast majority of the eating disorder population, what we hear about most frequently from ED orgs, research institutions, ED professionals via the media, and (my least favorite category, as you know lol) parent advocacy groups, are those cases which are viewed as entirely biologically caused, w mention of the thin ideal thrown in. no acknowledgement of the roles that dysfunctional parents or unsafe environments play in the development of the disorder
