it may sound weird as shit but you *can* purchase skulls and other human bones through legitimate means; it’s a hobby and not illegal in any way and objections are mostly on moral grounds (frex i don’t want to collect older or “exotic” skulls bc many of them are of indigenous ppl that had their graves looted)
