Digital sketch vs. final poster.
Lately I’ve started using Photoshop to make mockups for my final artwork. It’s especially useful for images where there’s a collection of objects—Photoshop makes it easy to change positioning, flip, and resize each element. Plus I’m way faster at painting in Photoshop than on paper, so I can quickly create a color guide for my final piece.
I’ve got some exciting bird-related art coming up, but I’m also planning to make more edible plants posters, using this digital sketch method. Hint hint: the next one will be peachy! 🍑🍒
